Ngawha Springs, May 2020
The Ngawha Geothermal Power Station is currently undergoing an expansion. Central Steel Framing supplied steel framing for the expansion, working alongside Johnstone Construction.
Situated near Kaikohe in the upper North Island, this project is one of the biggest construction ventures in the Far North. The completion of the project will not only improve the Northland's power supply, but for the first time it will also allow the power station to transport power south for the majority of time. The expansion is set to be finished by the end of 2020.
